A sweet (and free!) seminar where you can learn more about honey production and discover the importance of local honey for the environment, the economy, and your table.

About Ryan LeBrun

Ryan LeBrun picked up The Beekeeper’s Bible in 2012 and hasn’t put it down since. As the Director of Operations and Head Beekeeper at Bee Local, he harvests the best flavors of the Pacific Northwest into the most nutritious and tastiest honey in the country to connect people to the land through food.

About Bee Local

Founded in 2011 by Damian Magista, Bee Local has become a national brand and changed the face of honey production and sourcing. Unbeknownst to even the savviest food lovers, not all honey is created equal, and the world of bees, beekeeping, and honey is in crisis. Honey laundering, predatory purchasing, and harsh conventional/commercial beekeeping not only contribute to colony collapse disorder, but have pushed smaller family beekeepers out of business, creating honey monopolies. The result is inferior, flavorless, and nutrient deficient honey across America.

That’s where Bee Local comes in. Our goal is to become the most trusted, transparent and tasty honey company in America. Raw, single-origin, and never treated or ultra-filtered, we produce and source only the most sustainable, healthy and delicious honey in the country.
